At CCAFV, we offer comprehensive emergency, intervention and prevention services to prevent and end the cycle of abuse at no cost to the women, men and children we serve. Many victims/survivors face considerable obstacles to leaving an abusive situation because they lack access to appropriate resources. The lack of economic options and services in the community can be a formidable barrier to finding services and safety for a victim, especially where children are concerned. CCAFV has an operating budget around $200,000. We are seeking funding for agency operations and development of our Child Advocacy Center (CAC), to ensure that services are provided to all children who may need them. We receive some funding from the North Carolina Council for Women, Governor's Crime Commission, United Way of Coastal Carolina, and other grantors, but these monies are very competitive and limited. We are seeking individuals, foundations, corporations, and business in the tri-county area interested in supporting our efforts. Support on all levels is needed. Your financial help is essential for us to continue to provide critical services to victims/survivors of abuse and violence, and to continue our community education and prevention efforts. We invite you to join us in providing a much-needed service to the children and adults of our community. Every donation makes a difference to individuals and families dealing with violence and/or abuse. |
