Child Abuse Resource Center dba Causing Hope exists to support the victims, survivors, families, and caregivers of child sexual abuse by providing direct support, information, and resources to take actions when a child has been sexually abused. Preventing child sexual abuse from happening in the first place is a lofty goal, but one that is unrealistic given the state of our systematic response to a disclosure. Prevention is multi-faceted and will likely take years before we can say our society is preventing sexual abuse from occurring. We are not there… yet.
